Well first he was a new species, then he was a microcephalic, now they have 8 hobbits and they are back to being a new species, Homo floresiensis, closely related to Homo Habilis. BBC article news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/6311619.stm

Why do they keep making weird guesses when it's obvious to everyone what it is: Hobbits.
Only thing new is the hobbits apparently survived a long time after the explosion of Mount Doom. Not surprising really considering how versatile they are. Why is everyone acting like it's a major deal? ;D

I wish all the past homind species were alive today. I'd love to actually see some of them, not including the great apes and all.

I'd rather see a Neanderthal, like that guy in your old signature Clemo. This Neanderthal woman and child from wikipedia look pretty don't look as extreme as i thought they would:
