Apparently I can look through posts at HBD now, but I can't post. Only thing worth addressing is the following since Garth's ability to comprehend the English language is lacking:
I have no mission other than allow people to discuss issues dealing with humanity. That is the only goal for this forum. I have rarely brought up my politics here, and have made it clear, at least to the other mods, that I don't mind people of any political persusasion as long as they follow the rules.
In his forum he mentioned that unlike me, he isn't curious of hidden meanings. He expects others to do that work for him and won't contribute new knowledge of biodiversity.
The first sentence doesn't even relate to the second sentence.
I expect everyone to add as much as they want. I'm not a leader of a community. I just don't think that way. I don't know what Gareth has contributed other than opening up a gallery that appeals to Agrippa, which is ironic considering what he said in this thread about the man.
This would make sense if I was the driving force behind this forum, but I'm not. This isn't my forum, but rather every members. They will shape it with what they bring to the table, so to speak. I may be paying for vBulletin, but I'm not going to be a leader. Unlike Gareth I'm not interested in lording over people, and that's why I'm not the only admin. here, or will be in the upcomong vBulletin forum.
Oh yeah, that's why he came on this forum whining and bitching because people have the freedom to go elsewhere if they choose to do so.
As I said before, I don't mind people posting here and at HBD. I've said that from the start. So, on my end, a peaceful coexistence was a given. Even if Gareth was peeing on the front porch.
Also, this isn't "Anodyne's Forum," which people keep saying.
The difference is that Anodyne's forum is a stage of his political sense of mission with little scientific ambitions.

Just the opposite of Dienekes, who is a self confessed conservative but first of all interested in anthropological knowledge, not politics.

Given all that, I'm positive that there will be a way to peaceful coexistence.
