I love that movie, which stands to reason since I'm a big fan of both gangster movies and the Coen brothers. The most recent mob film I saw was "Road To Perdition", which could have been the title of a book about my high school experiences.

The Last King of Scotland.
I read the book two years ago, I thought the film departed from the book pointlessly. In the book, the young Scottish doctor does redeem himself in the end, in the film he's just a dickhead and a Scots-Nat football cretin to boot. Lot of nice Afro music in the soundtrack.

The last movie I saw at the theater was "The Queen" with Helen Mirren. I liked it.

Once Upon a Time in America, a movie about Jewish gangsters. It was pretty good, I liked what I saw of it. Except it's a 2-disc movie and instead of sending me disc 1 and 2, Netflix sent me two disc 1's. Which I didn't notice until it was time to pop in disc 2.

Damn, that sucks!
I once bought a CD (I think it was Bob Marley), and when I had almost gotten home, I discovered there was a DVD with some rapper, called "Ginuwine" or something, in the case.
I switched it with the real CD later though.

It's one of my top ten favorite gangster movies. You gotta have a lot of time and popcorn to watch it. It's quite the epic production.

Blood Diamond. It was really great!
Very brutal at times. Manages to be both actionfilled and tell some very personal stories(as well as a political one but it's certainly the personal stories of people trapped in war that steals the picture). It only goes a bit too much overboard in American sentimentality and there is good action. Djimon Hounsou puts up a great performance and in spite of his reputation as just eyecandy for the ladies Leonardo DiCaprio play very good as well.
In spite of the 143 minutes runtime it doesn't seem a minute too long. Definetely worthwhile.

Strange that many people don't understand the current conflicts in former colonies inhabited by Muslims when that movie is around.

A really weird Korean movie called Oldboy. It was pretty violent at times and downright bizarre.
