I really don't like proboards so I'm for the move as well. It would be nice if we didn't have to move again for some time then however.

Considering the board has more than fifty members, the number of votes is pretty damn lousy! Ok, I've had computer problems - 15 votes now.

Won't happen (I don't see why it should), I think the board will be up in a few days, it has to be paid for and stuff.

Who is paying for it?

I will be paying for it. No one has to worry about me ever bringing that up whenver there is an issue. *cough* Like Gareth did *cough* I just need paypal to verify my account first (couple of days). If I pay the good fellows of vBulletin by check, which is how I pay for everything, it would take longer. I don't believe in using credit cards.

They do have free alternatives for bulletin type boards instead of paying Anodyne, do a quick check first before you spend that money man. I vote for a bulletin type board also.

Hmmm, well, it's basically the same features Proboards have, the interest in VBulletin is due to there being a lot of stuff beyond the basic forum features that are enabled when you pay.
If no one wanted to pay, Proboards would be fine enough with me, but Anodyne does want to do it, so I'm definitely in favour of it.

It's not that much, really.

Put me down for a 'yes' too. Unless things have changed, proboards doesn't have very good security. And I can't live without Gareth's "post since your last login" and "your posts" (or whatever it is that maintains a list of threads that you've posted on).
Here's another idea if you're shopping around. There is another news forum type feature that some people might find outdated, annoying and cheesy but I think has definite possibilities. I'm talking about the "flag" feature. When you make a post, you can post it with flag list. Then everyone has a search that allows them to check their own flags, sent to them from other people. Ever posted something about African genetics or racial discrimination and wanted to make sure that Cameo saw it? Maybe it's something about Berbers that you'd like Berter's input on? Like to get Anodyne's take on a new civil rights regulation? Or you've made a racial classification and you'd like for Forrester, Fred and Platypus to tell you just how wrong you are. You COULD PM them, but the flag tells the recipient that it's part of the open forum discussion which they may put a higher priority on. Also PM seems more intimate and some people might not feel comfortable enough to send them right away.
Something to think about. I've actually seen this feature stir up discussions and debates that wouldn't have happened otherwise.
P.S. Many people won't leave one forum to go to another one because of the difference in the software between the two forums.
